Single Family Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program
Our Single Family Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program targets owner-occupied homes needing repair. Through the program, income-eligible homeowners will make their homes safer, decrease high utility costs, and protect them for the next generation. Because of our large geographical area, we are targeting clusters of counties each funding cycle, to better serve our residents.

Housing is an important issue that many employers face when working to recruit or retain employees for their businesses. CNHD is looking for communities or employers who may be interested in developing housing programs that enhance the recruitment or retention of employees in the region.

Workforce Development Housing
New Housing Construction

Many communities in our region are experiencing economic growth and increasing workforce populations. One such community is O'Neill. To meet this need, Central Nebraska Housing Developers is conducting a pilot project to build a new housing subdivision in O'Neill that will accommodate 19 new homes: 6 offered with downpayment assistance, 2 sold at market rate, and 11 offered as lease-to-own properties. These quality-built, attractively-designed homes will serve diverse income levels and help address growing community workforce needs.
