About CNEDD
The Central Nebraska Economic Development District (CNEDD) is a 15-county regional development organization that encourages cooperation between local government officials, community-based organizations and the private sector. The District provides the link between federal and state programs, and the local level where development actually occurs.

CNEDD is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of private citizens, public agencies, and elected officials who represent various economic interests. Each of the 15 counties located in the CNEDD service area have a representative on the Board of Directors, who is appointed by their respective county board. In addition to the 15 county representatives, a public service representative and a private citizen representative make up the 17-member Board of Directors. Click here for Board and Staff.
